Recommendations for first holiday for couple 21

My daughter and her boyfriend have suddenly both got some time off next month and are looking to go away next month for their first holiday together. They are looking for a hot, beach holiday but are much more into small restaurants and bars, boat trips and maybe some fishing than nightclubs or busy resorts. They were thinking Turkey but I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations of places they or their young adult children had visited. Obviously they have been doing a lot of research but there are wildly different reviews online so any ideas would be much appreciated.

Kefalonia would be perfect for them

I love Sarigerme or Dalyan in turkey. Quiet resorts, lovely beaches, turtles, mud baths, beautiful architecture and boat trips.

You beat me to it! One of the loveliest holidays dh and I had before we were married was to Kefalonia. Just the right balance of being laid back and interesting! Lovely restaurants, relaxing beaches, walks and excursions.

Agree with Greece - my best memories as a young couple. We went to Naxos - from the UK you have to connect at Athens via plane or ferry but it makes it seem a bit more exclusive. It was just beautiful.

You can fly direct into Mykonos or Santorini for a much shorter connection to Naxos.

How long for? I would do Cala'dor or Portugal
