Sleeping solutions on holiday

Our 15 month old is a bit big now to sleep in travel cots, he rolls about a lot in his sleep. I’m wondering if a nap mat or an inflatable travel bed would be better choices to take away with us.

what have you all used & recommend?

Single bed but take a bed rail with you?

We always just used to create a cushion mat/pile at the side of the bed in case dd fell out. You could also consider the inflatable/portable bed rails, which may be easier to travel with.

I've used the inflatable bed rails for the last few years, neither of my sons have fallen out of bed with them. Not the cheapest thing but worth it, especially when your using multiple hotels in a trip as the just deflate and pack up quite small.

Readybed?

We used one of these when DC were that age.
