Puerto Azul or Villaconcha (PP Majorca)

Think we've narrowed down to these 2 hotels and can't decide between them. Prefer location of Azul but no splash pool, Villaconcha has splash pool and nearer bigger beach (and has slightly better reviews but both seem excellent). 3 kids (3, 8, 11) so think we'll need 2 rooms in both hotels. Pools and beach are priority, and hoping kids maje some friends! We won't be out too late in evenings due to 3 year old. Will be Jet2/Tui in mid August. Please put me out my misery and tell me which one! Thank you

We have been to Villaconcha several times with kids and alone and really like it. The main pool is nice and there is also a rare heated ‘proper’ swimming pool that is good if your kids want to properly swim lengths. There was also a mini wibit inflatable thing in that pool last time we went. It has a sporty feel and has onsite bike hire if that appeals too.

Clearly there is very little difference. I agree that the Azul is in a better location for the older part of the town, but it's not like the Villaconcha is in some kind of slum area. I'm guessing that if you went to book A and it was full, you would book B with a clear conscience.

Why not let your kids choose? Give them the information and let them treat it as a "mini-adulting" project. They will really look forward to the holiday (even more!) then.
