Dubai stop over mid April

Flying with Emirates for our honeymoon to Japan, stopping over in Dubai. Flights were £2600 so we are not wanting to lose the money. 11th April- 21st April. All accommodation is free cancellation. Currently Emirates is saying you can reschedule flights that are due to take off before 31st March.

Each day I’m checking and flights with other airlines that don’t stop over in Dubai are going up in price by the day.

When is the ‘31st March’ likely to be updated?

What would you do? We are ttc and with work commitments these dates are really our last chance to go to Japan

Can you not reschedule to not fly via Dubai? We’re going to Australia and have changed our flight to go via Hong Kong instead of Dubai.

Is this with Emirates? They are currently saying that you can only do that for flights up until 31st March I think

Where are you flying from. I'd wait for updates, I can't see emirates getting back to normal for a long time.

Flying from Newcastle upon Tyne -> Dubai -> Tokyo and same on the return
