Rome trip with 1 year old

We are going to a place just outside of Rome for a few days for my brothers wedding and wanted to make a trip of it.

Looking for recommendations for any places around Rome with a 1 year old in July.
Thanks in advance!

are you planning on carrying your child or pushing a buggy?

I'm not sure that would be fun. It's hot and cobbled.

Ooh, it’s going to be hot….

Even the Romans dont stay in Rome in July. Can you get to the coast instead?

Alittlegirlsmum · 04/03/2026 13:33

probably a buggy. Will likely take a carrier sling too. X

I know it will be hot but we have no choice as it’s my brothers wedding!
