Apart from the obvious large attractions, what suggestions do you have for places to see, visit, eat and drink please? Rooftop bars? Quirky bars? Places to eat lunch and dinner? Anything out of the ordinary and memorable besides the usual please.

Ostia Antica,
The square Coliseum,
The Scavi tour under St Peter’s is fascinating.

Don't forget to visit the cat sanctuary at Torre Argentina.

Just walk. Walk everywhere. There is so much to see around every corner. The little restaurants in the streets behind the main attractions are cheaper and friendlier to eat at.

Siesta in The afternoon, then do the walking again in the evening. Everything looks more beautiful at night.

I’d definitely recommend Mr 100 Tiramisu. It’s a cute little wine bar with 100 flavours of tiramisu on the menu.

We did a walking food tour, booked through trip advisor and it was great!
