Marrakech - where to stay

We are spending a week in Marrakech at Easter, rough plan is 2 nights in a Riad, 3 nights maybe near Lake Takerkoust, then final 2 nights in a modern hotel in Marrakech.

Would you recommend more/less time at any of these, not sure what the food will be like near the mountains hence the safe bet for the last 2 nights..

Any recommendations for Riads and somewhere with amazing mountain views? Can't quite afford Richard Branson's resort 😅

I would go straight to the mountains and do your 3 nights and then go to Marrakech.

Otherwise you're spending 2 days travelling and a week isn't very long
