Family holiday recommendations please!

Before kids I would happily scroll looking for holidays for hours but nowadays I just don’t seem to have the time to look into it so recommendations of holidays/hotels please for Feb or Easter and maybe also summer holiday depending on pricing! Ideal criteria is:

> DH, myself, DSS 9, DD 2, DD 5 months.
> Somewhere warm enough for a bit of time lounging and to splash in the pool. I was thinking canaries for feb half term.
> DH would like to go to Egypt but flight time worries me with two very young children
> Family friendly with pools and activities for DSS, he is very active so will want to join in things
> Not bothered whether B&B, half board or AI etc but I guess with the children AI may just be easier
> DH gets bored. So somewhere nice to walk to, towns, beaches etc. and also easy to access excursions (boat trips, water sports, boat hire would be a bonus too!)
> Possibly private plunge pool and/or outside lounge area with the room so if little ones nap I might still get a few minutes to ready my book and DH can take DSS out and about if necessary.
> Ideally not too far from airport, we could then just get a transfer and not worry about hiring a car.

Have you been anywhere that may tick our boxes?? I have been to most Canary Islands before children and particularly liked Costa Teguise in Lanzarote which I think would be family friendly?. Also Greek islands for summer is always my fav - one year I managed four short breaks to Corfu x2, Kefalonia and Rhodes so you get an idea of where I like etc. Please help from an exhausted but unmotivated mum BlushFlowersFlowers

I think if you're looking at Feb half term Canaries is probably going to be your only real option if you want some nice weather. Xx

The only other thing I might suggest is leaving it till last minute so you have a better idea of weather if you want to go to Greece, Cyprus or Turkey. I think Rhodes and Crete may be warmer than Corfu as they're further South. The sea will probably be quite cool those months so I'd look for a hotel with a heated pool if you have the budget. We stayed at the Sheraton in Feurtaventura and that did have an outdoor heated pool, Creta Maris in Crete also has a heated outdoor pool. Xx

OP, paste your post into ChatGPT.com - it will give you a brilliant starting set of suggestions.

It agrees with TPA about the Canaries.
