Warm weather in April.

Can go away for up to a week from the 3rd of April. Would like warm weather and stuff to look at as well as some sort of activity to keep a teenage boy happy.

Have been looking at Cordoba/Grandad and flying into Málaga but this involves three train journeys in total. Also Grenada could be chilly as it is higher up. Have stayed in Málaga and Seville before and don't want to spend long there.

Maybe Valancia?

Also Marrakesh but not sure about the hassling aspect, I am 50 and would always be with my husband/son but I am very blonde (Not sure if this makes any difference, would have thought being an older woman would mean not much hassle)

Have been to the Canary Islands and don't want to visit them again.

Going round in circles as bit!

Cyprus or Malta

The canary islands is quite a big place.
If you havent been to puerto mogan in gran canaria then i would highly recommend it.
Quiet safe resort with loads to do and the weather should be gorgeous then.

Thank you! Will have a look at those three destinations.

How about Madeira. I’ve been twice and we loved it.

Cape Verde is nice and warm in April. If your son (or any of the rest of you) are sporty then kite surfing is great fun.

Would my teenager live Madeira? I have been once years ago but it seemed like it catered for an older clientele!

I’d question Madeira tbh, glad to have seen it but definitely felt like it was aimed at an older market (as in older than me in my 50s!)

I’d recommend Gran Canaria- Puerto de Mogan or Puerto Rico. Been in April several times and weather has been hot. Also been to Marrakesh though we stayed in a gorgeous AI resort about 10 minutes outside the city. Weather was lovely though nights were chilly.
