Has anyone just got back from menorca ? How was the weather

There has been mixed reports just wondered if anyone could shed some light. Thanks

Not Menorca, but have just come back from Ibiza.

From early-Mid May the whole of the med had shocking weather-cold, rainy etc.

When we were in Ibiza, the forecasts were also mixed but it turned out just right. There was a little rain at times, a fair amount of cloud but also lots of warm sunshine. We have the best tan ever, because we didn't get blasted with relentless sun.

My advice is-ignore the forecasts (the ones we had actually spoilt my anticipation of our hols-all for nothing). Even if they forecast cloud/rain I find that is only for a part of the day and the other part will brighten up nicely as it tends to do in the med.

just back from Spain and like getme it was very variable

my father lives in Spain and is currently sitting in a thunderstorm at 17 degrees while I am sweltering in Somerset

We got back from Menorca on Friday. Weather was great, a little cloudy first thing for a few days but sun soon came out. We had a shower one morning but only lasted couple of hours. We only stayed for the week but all have a nice tan. Wish i was going again!!

Aaah thanks alot that makes me feel alot better. One week to go

we had quite a bit of cloud in the canaries and even a few showers ( they only normally get 16 days of rain a year) but the sun usually burnt it away by mid day.
friendsjust back from Spain and only had 5 nice days out of 11.
Organise some sight seeing trips and wait to see what weather like when you get up. Have nice time.
