We are keen bodyboarders/surfers (not me actually, DH and DS, 13 and 15) and regularly visit Cornwall. They are prob beginner to intermediate standard so we are not after huge waves!
The last couple of years we have holidayed in northern Spain and prior to that Southwest France. The next step might be Portugal - we were wondering about travelling from Santiago down to Porto, but the best surfing looks closer to Lisbon.
I am also wondering about being more adventurous and trying Sri Lanka though I suspect it’s over budget. I know it’s cheaper when you get there, but overall, I presume it would be cheaper to stay in Europe?! We may also not have long enough as presume you def need at least a couple of weeks if going that far.
