Hi everyone

I have a 4 and 6 year old, both autistic and am looking for a holiday park/area that will not be heaving in mid/late August. We usually do a Centerparcs in Holland at spring bank but we need to do August this year so looking for somewhere that isn’t extremely lively and crowded.

Would be a driving hol so can consider France, Holland, Germany, Belgium etc.

Any recommendations welcome. Thank you.

Huttopia Lac de Rille is a really tranquil holiday park with some basic facilities like outdoor pool and play area.

We have loved Hof Van Saksen and Ter Spegelt in Holland, both quiet at the end of August, spacious beaches and great facilities. Little Clogs holidays are an excellent source of information and have a SEN friendly section.

Landal Hoog Vaals was a great favourite when dd was little. Has an indoor pool and playgrounds but generally quite peaceful. Last week of August - most Dutch and Belgian schools will have gone back, so a lot of NL for example should be relatively quiet. Water Village near the Roompot resort in Zeeland is lovely - near beach and the main resort for facilities, but really quiet - squirrels and ducks to look. Lots to do near there - seal watching boat trips, Neeltje Jans Delta Park and a good go - ape type place. Some lovely little towns with windmills.

Landal.com and Roompot.com. Some of the Roompot parks have accommodation right on the beach if you want lots of open space - depends on flight risk though I guess...

De Twee Bruggen is the Netherlands would be worth a look. Loads of outdoor play areas with lots of space. Indoor and outdoor pools and not too far from a nice town. I second taking a look at Little Cliga Holidays
