Winter mini break with 11 year old boys

I need some ideas for a winter mini break in December, 4 adults and 2 11 year old boys. The boys are too old for seeing santa so we are looking for an alternative. Around 3 nights, flight time less than 3 hours, easy to get to from airport.

We would like a Christmas market but are looking for a bit more adventure/activities than a standard Christmas market city break.

Basically it is something to replace Lapland uk etc for the boys now they are a bit older.

Bonus points if there will be snow!

Copenhagen? In December there may be snow. Lovely city, compact, good markets and Tivoli garden for the kids. Tivoli doesn't exactly have white knuckle rides, but its good fun and magical lit up at night

Berlin is a great city

Reykjavik. Although not sure about the Christmas markets. Lots of activities for everyone
