brave or daft ? Don't click if you get vertigo

I read there is a safety line they clip the harness to, but even so!

Go on click on it

Holy shit...

Why did I click that

I waswatching, my heart was skipping beats, I felt dizzy, I felt like I was losing my balance. I was nearly physically sick at more than one point. Presumably, I have vertigo.

Is this normal to feel like this? From a video?

I felt like if I was there, I would jump off and die just to get off.

I know this is not what this thread is about.. but is that normal?

Sorry..

SNoraWotzThat · 02/06/2008 01:13

It was scary wasn't it? My heart racing too!

Didn't think sitting here it would make me feel like I was actually there. Must be the steady hand of the person filming it. Good though!!

Sorry to have got your heart racing.

No, don't apologise. You did give a warning, which I promptly ignored..

SNoraWotzThat · 02/06/2008 01:17

I'm going to click on it tomorrow to wake myself up

SNoraWotzThat · 02/06/2008 01:28

Snora, what an amazing clip! I felt really shaky watching it. I don't think I would be brave enough to walk along it though.

SNoraWotzThat · 02/06/2008 16:02

I think its brilliant
I just didn't know places like that exist.

I've got another pic and in a minute I'm going to put it on profile to give the sheer scale of it.

You have to applaud the people who built it. How scary it must have been.

wheresthehamster · 02/06/2008 16:42

Great pic.

SNoraWotzThat · 02/06/2008 16:48

I've watched the clip again and i don't think the person who has the camera is using the safety line. How can he when he crosses the man on the path?

Thanks wheresthehamster

Has anyone done the via ferrata in the Dolomites? We went last year - it was FAB. Really scary.

SNoraWotzThat · 03/06/2008 11:38

I have just googled that branflake
It looks amazing. That swing bridge "Wow"!
I must have missed a passion that I am too old and unfit to participate in any longer.
