Hoburne Bashley
Hoburne Nash
Shorefield

Two young kids. Want somewhere peaceful and not bothered about evening entertainment etc. Any suggestions? Thanks

Not been to any of these but we did stay on Sandy Balls and had a great week away

We are currently at Hoburne Bashley and it’s perfect for our two year old. We prefer it to Centerparcs and would definitely come again. Site is very peaceful and there is a semi-ancient woodland with fairy/elf doors on the trees to follow on a woodland walk. Not far from the beach. DD likes the stay and play and the soft play, haven’t been swimming yet but there are indoor and outdoor toddler splash areas. The main building gets manic with kids running around in the evenings but we’ve mostly done our own thing. It’s small and sort of old-fashioned and we really like it.

This sounds perfect and exactly what we are after. Is it fairly peaceful? Really don’t want blaring music etc and really loud neighbours at night 🙈 Are there many nice places to visit nearby ish? Thanks!

I was also going to suggest Sandy Balls

spot in the woods

Read the recent reviews for sandy balls and it seems to have gone downhill.

Shorefield, the beach is quiet and Milford on Sea and Lymington are great for places to eat.

No blaring music or noisy neighbours for us. I did get woken up by acorns falling on the caravan roof but took that as a hazard of caravans on a wooded site! Lots of nice places to visit, we had days out at the beach and Moors valley steam railway. We’re thinking about booking again for next summer, we had such a lovely time.
