Last minute weekend holiday trip

Can you help me find a spot around London for next weekend with fun activities for kids - we have 2 days before the start of term and I want to take them somewhere.

Doesn't matter if it is self catering or not but I want nice activities for the kids (5 and 11) maybe swimming, climbing, cycling, farm animals in the area.

Any ideas are appreciated!

You can get all that in London! Mudchute farm, climbing/swimming and other activities up by Lee Valley (former Olympic park etc). There’s also some camping up there (haven’t tried myself).

Vauxhall - has a climbing wall, a city farm and access to the Thames path for cycling - or a short bus ride or walk to Battersea Park which has recumbent bikes. Swimming pool at Better Leisure Vauxhall - or if the weather is nice 2 stops on the Victoria Line to Brixton for Brockwell Lido. Vauxhall Park is pretty with a decent playground and a lavender maze. Maybe get a boat from Vauxhall Pier to the Tower of London - lots of sights to see enroute - Houses of Parliament/London Eye/Belfast etc. A decent range of hotels from Travel Lodge upwards. Plenty of places to eat at Battersea Power Station.
