Hammermet Tunisia

Dh are looking to go away for 5 days in September we really restricted by dates and Tunisia flights are perfect early morning on the day we fly as opposed to Canary Islands etc which are late afternoon so only arrive late at night so that’s the first day gone How safe is the area we would be all inclusive but don’t want to be stuck in the hotel grounds the whole time. Never been so just wanted other people’s views

Tunisia was the worst holiday we had. It was dirty and poor, felt really third world outside the resort. I had naively assumed it would be like Turkey

I have been to Hammamet this summer, it was wonderful. The country is poor but the resort we stayed in was lovely, well looked after and the locals were all v friendly. We didn’t venture far at all, but we were looking for a week by the pool and that’s what we got. I would go again happily!
