Tesco rewards and le shuttle

I’ve just booked my le shuttle tickets using tesco rewards. It didn’t give me the flexiplus option, annoyingly! Only standard. So I’ve booked standard, but really worried I won't make it… it will mean a 4am start from Cumbria 🙈
I’ve tried to upgrade online but it won’t give me the option. Is this because I used tesco points?
Can I upgrade in this situation?

We stayed overnight in Folkestone after the long drive south, then went for our booked crossing in the morning. Would doing that work for you?

It clearly says Tesco rewards can only be used on standard tickets not flexi plus, so doubt you would be able to add this, but you could try ringing direct, otherwise maybe book a travelodge on your way South.

Yeah, Tesco says standard and le shuttle says standard & flexi plus.
