ESTA expiration notice - but valid until 2026

i had an email that my ESTA for the US will expire in 30 days. However, i checked my status and it is valid until 2026. We will be traveling to US later in the year (and transitted through last year). Is there a UK number to call and speak to someone about this?

You don’t get emails saying your Esta is going out of date? Unless it’s new, is it a scam?

You do get emails when Estas are expiring. Did you have an esta before or someone else in the family you completed an esta for? It’s usually a previous one expiring. Or a passport is expiring (new passport = new esta). If you’ve checked on the official esta site and your current esta is still valid then you are good to go. I’ve had this many times (email about a previous esta expiring while I also have a current esta)

@Tallyho15ah that may be it! We definitely transited via Houston last year and no passport or other changes and expiry date clearly says 2026. I wish there was someone I could call to confirm
