cottage recommendation please in Dorset or New Forest

Some brave friends have asked us to go on a long w/end in Oct. Only want to drive about 3-4 hours from here, we are nr Dover. Looking for somewhere really nice to sleep 7 plus dog!

I can recommend (again!) Welcome Cottages. We have used them several times and have always been impressed. It can all be done online through their website, and prices are very reasonable. They have places all over the UK, Ireland and some in France, and sleep anywhere from 2 to dozens!

Triplets, we've stayed at Sandyballs (you won't forget the name!) near Fordingbridge in New Forest. Nice wooden lodges in a woodland setting with an indoor pool and restaurant. We really liked it there but it was a few years ago.
