Yelloh Village

Hi everyone, I’m going to stay in a Yelloh Village later this summer for the first time. I’m wondering what is included in the apartments and whether we need to buy everything in advance, like washing up liquid, soap, washing up cloths etc? Or are those basics included?

I know it’s a super specific question but we’ll probably go to the supermarket on our way there and I would appreciate any intel to be prepared!

We had a very small pack with 2 sachets of washing up liquid, a cloth, a dishwasher tablet and a small bar of soap. Plus 2 toilet rolls.

Another point is that there was no air conditioning and only 1 fan for 2 bedrooms.

Usually you get a cleaning starter pack, with little sachets, although contents depend on your level of caravan. Once I got full sized bottles of bleach, dish soap, surface cleaner, etc and just a couple of dishwasher tablets. I usually take some dishwasher tablets, a cloth and a mini bottle of antibac, just in case.
In the higher grade caravans, they often provide mini bottles of shower items, soap, etc and a couple of loo rolls. I just pack a couple extra from home, but I drive down, so it's easy enough to do.

Thanks both, that’s exactly what I needed

We’re just back from a Yelloh site in France. We had a premium caravan but it still only provided a small starter pack in the kitchen. We had bathroom packs with soap and shower gel etc but had brought our own. Definitely take dishwasher tablets. If you intend to cook then it’s worth taking some seasonings and maybe a small olive oil. I also took my “good knife”. You can buy it all, obviously, but handy to have.
