Last minute short breaks

I have few days with the kids, ds12 and dd9 where we could go for a short break while dh works. Any ideas? We live on the South Coast. Either UK or abroad. Have access to a car. TIA

What about Amsterdam? Plenty for kids to do there and a short travel time.

You won’t get tickets for the Anne Frank house at last minute though.

Ferry to isle
Of wight or France? Dutch centre parc?

I would look on something like TUI and get a bargain somewhere. Any beach holiday will be fun at that age.
Barcelona has great hotels most have pools and there’s a beach. I can recommend loads of hotels if you want.
