Hit me with your favourites please. Budget is about 1000 per person for a week. Not really any specifics. Adult free would be lovely but a bonus.

Costa Adeje covers a large area. Have you been before?

Adult free?
I assume you mean adults only.
We stayed at the Iberostar Anthelia in Costa Adeje. It’s not adults only but we went during term time n March and there were a few children there, mainly pre school age.
The hotel has 3 swimming pools,2 of which are heated. One of the heated pools was the warmest swimming pool I’ve ever been in. The food was excellent and all members of staff were really friendly. The hotel has direct access to the promenade which you access through a gate using your room card.If you turn right the walk takes you along the coast to Costa Caleta and if you turn left, the walk will eventually take you into Playa de Las Americas and beyond. We preferred the walk to La Caleta.
If you like to take a break from round the pool there are lots of activities on offer including yoga,pétanque, table tennis, darts, aqua aerobics, arts and crafts including candle making and making jewellery from recycled glass.

Stayed in the Dreams Jardín Tropical and really enjoyed it. As Pp says Costa Adeje is quite a large area and the Hardin Tropical is quite a walk from the posh shopping centre

We also stayed at the Iberostar Anthelia February/March time 2024. Had a great holiday didn’t spend much time at the hotel. Very few children at that time. For us adults only is something we would avoid. Saw a sea of miserable looking older people sitting in near silence in the bar first night and that was enough. We went out to lively bars. Never stayed in to find out what the entertainment at our hotel was like.

We are ourselves an older couple.

It’s a comfortable hotel, we stayed bed and breakfast. Might be a different vibe in high season.

Depends on so may factors-when you are travelling, your ages, what you like/don't like.

We stay at the Jardines de nivaria. Next door to the IB Selection Anthelia. it's wonderful. Quiet, peaceful, no pool music, no daytime entertainment. Very much an over 60s vibe, luxury. No all inclusive. it's not AO but there are very few (if any) children there as nothing for them to do.

Looks lovely but 300 pounds each above budget unfortunately

We stayed in the GF Isabel which was lovely. A great location. I think the side of Adeje closer to del duque is nicer than towards las americas.

Jardines de nivaria looked lovely from the outside and wasn’t as far up the hill!!

We too stayed at Iberostar anthelia but in school holidays and our party ranged from 7 months up to 72. Had a great time - loved the hotel. We went half board and the food was amazing.

For adults only - iberostar sabila, melia jardines del teide or Colon Guanahani Hotel
