Stansted airport parking

Hi, does anyone have a recommendation for parking for 3 weeks at stansted? It's looking to 250 quid for on site parking. There are a lot of companies offering cheaper park and ride options but I have heard some have dodgey reputations.

Never needed long stay, but for short stay we go through Purple Parking and never had any issues. Lots of discount codes for them too, they sent me one this week.

I would either go for official parking or consider other options to get there (train, taxi). If you don’t self park, there have been instances of so called parking services hiring cars out and/or returning them covered in mud.

Check your mileage. If you park very close to the airport and under a flight path consider disabling an alarm. Air pressure from passing aircraft can constantly set them off resulting in a flat battery.

Check on holiday extras website- for that time the long stay car park might be ok
