We have 3 children (5,3 and 2 months). We tend to go away for birthdays (abroad holidays, centre parcs, Disneyland).

so for my soon to be 4 year old we’re going to peppa world for a weekend. I’m really struggling for my eldest. Six in January. We tend to go abroad but long haul but I’m refusing this year with a small baby. We thought Lego land but it’s shut for the month.

any suggestions welcome?!

Birmingham?

No I'm not insane there is a Legoland Discovery Centre. OK it isn't Legoland but there are other attractions in Brum. Cadbury World, Think Tank, Sealife centre, cinemas, theatre and museums.

Maybe not for a 6 year old but in the Jewellery quarter you can take a class to make a piece of jewellery.

Chessington is open all year round.

The Legoland Discovery centres are nothing like Legoland. There 1.5 hrs entertainment max, and 6 is probably the top of the target age. They are not theme parks, more like exhibitions, with a few building activities on the way.
