We went to Germany last year, got the cheapest chalet and slightly regret it.

We want to upgrade this year but does anyone know whether VIP is significantly better than Deluxe? It's a lot more money but TBH doesn't look a lot different.

we stayed in vip in holland last year. don't know about how different it was to deluxe, but it didn't have an oven!

We stayed VIP in Holland (Eeemhof) - it had an oven (poor Furball) and was nicely furnished (certainly a lot nicer than the spartan UK 'normal' one we stayed in previously. Sorry, I don't have a clue what the difference is between deluxe and VIP, but we very much enjoyed having our own sauna.

Didn't have an oven?! Do the Dutch not cook?

Sauna sounds like a nice idea, perhaps I'll investigate that further.
