New York hotel suggestions

Last time we went to New York (12 years ago!) we had a hotel overlooking Central Park but no windows!! I cried with disappointment! Are there any hotels anyone can recommend with a view over Central Park? Thank you!

What price range were you thinking about?

i am from there and not going there until the orange is out of office

It’s expensive but the Mandarin Oriental has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the park. The view is stunning.

Essex House is on Central Park South overlooking Central Park. Obviously rooms/suites with park views come at a premium. I stayed there on business and it’s a lovely hotel in a great location.
