Long Haul in September?

Hey all. We’re looking for a long haul holiday from the UK in the middle of September for 2 weeks with a 2 year old. Has anyone done anything similar? If so, what destinations do people recommend? We need somewhere to keep the LO entertained.

California is a nice comfortable temperature in September. San Diego is very family friendly and there’s loads to do.

Malaysia is dry in September not too hot. Kuala Lumpur and Penang would be the best for toddlers imo.
