Holiday with 18 year old son

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go with our 18 year old son.
We all like beach type holidays, have very little interest in sightseeing and just like to chill by the pool. Budget is probably about £5K as need a one bed apartment or room with dividing door/screen for privacy.
We have had some great holidays in Cyprus and Spain over the past couple of years.

The Algarve in Portugal might fit your requirements. The beaches are beautiful with golden sand and dramatic clifftops. There is lots accommodation options, from self catering villas to AI hotels. There are also plenty of water activities (kayaking, surfing, etc.) which your son might enjoy. Albufeira, is probably the most vibrant town in terms of nightlife. You could visit the Benagil caves on a sunbathing boat trip. The Algarve is also great for fresh fish and sangria!
