Paris Metro tickets

Can anyone tell me the difference(s) between and respective merits of the Bonjour RATP app and the IDF Mobilités app? I'm planning a trip of about four days, in case that's significant.

I think I'm right in saying that the paper carnet has now been phased out?

Get the IDF app and set up your account online, buy a pass for the days you are there, and scan in and out like the tube. So much easier!
