looking to book somwhere for next year in either may half term or October half term (last week of october) family of 4 but would prefer somewhere quiet as DS has autism and don't want him overwhelmed! DD loves being in the pool so ideally needs to be warm enough for her to mermaid around all day!

I would look for somewhere with a year round heated pool. I know Seaside Los Jameos in Lanzarote has one, but might be too busy for your DS.

You’ll need a heated pool where ever you go at that time of year so make sure it’s got one. Not an acclimatised one either, they’re always freezing

We went may half term to Turkey and the pools were cold apart from a heated one.

Arum Barut has a big outdoor heated pool and an indoor one too. It’s not a particularly noisy hotel .

we have done canaries and I hated turkey when I was younger! Just looking at egypt now, thinking maybe a swim to room then DS doesn't have to venture out
