Morzine vs Les Gets in Summer

We are considering a summer holiday in the alps with our active boys aged 9 and 13. We’ve heard good things about both Morzine and Les Gets but can’t decide which resort to choose. Does the good MN community have any advice that will help me decide?

They're right next to each other I don't think it really matters!!
Morzines a bit bigger and more well connected by the lifts, but we stayed in Les gets last summer and had a great time.

Both great resorts. I personally prefer morzine because it has lots more to do and has more of a “town centre”.

Have you considered Samoëns as an option?

There's lots to do in either location. We visited Morzine for a week last summer with our 11 and 14yos and could easily have spent a whole month. We only went up to Les Gets for the luge, which was brilliant - definitely recommended. Make sure you choose accommodation which offers the Multi Pass so you get free use of the ski lifts and swimming pools and lots of discounts.
