What would you take 2 1/2 month old in on plane?

Do you carry them in a sling or carseat? Presumably you can't take the buggy on board?

you can't take the carseat on board unless you buy them a seat
you can take the buggy to the airplane door

thanks Blonde. What happens to the buggy at the airplane door?

you leave it at the plane steps and it's loaded last and unloaded first, so it is waiting for you (in theory) when you disembark.

Re car seat - depends on the airline. Most low costs don't allow them in the cabin.

as castille says the buggy goes in the baggage hold
they label it for you at check in

a sling is really useful though, but they might make you take dc out of it to put a seatbelt (utter useless imo) around your lo for take-off and landing. I asked if it would be OK to just pop seatbelt around child in sling as he seems more secure (and was sleeping).
