Anyone know if they have the new scanners totally up and running now?

Flew out of T2 on Boxing Day and didn’t have to take liquids or electrical out which was so good. I take lots of medication which is always a total pain!

Flying again tomorrow and hoping it’s all well established and running smoothly.

When I flew in February, they were all up and running.

We flew from Manchester a week ago and didn’t have to take anything out of our hand luggage from T1.

Is T3 the same? Flying out in a couple of weeks.

T3 was still old scanners, liquids out, laptops out when I used it last week

T3 old scanners still but we had no wait at all even for them to check a bag that had been pulled. Through in under 10 mins.

Went in February and didn’t need to take anything out which was great. They have the new body scanners there too. We got through quickly, but the airport was fairly quiet

Ps this was T1

T2, we flew through. Took minutes. So much better.
