Hi all,

in less than 10days we have 4 flights to get to our destination :

1st flight -1hr 30mins
2nd flight - 5hr 45 mins (this is at 11pm)
3rd flight - 5hr 30mins
4th flight - 1hr 20mins

im hoping kids will sleep on the 2nd flight it’s at night but wayyyyy past their bedtime so will try to make them have a nap in the day ✈️ any other tips or advice they are 3 and 5 yrs old.

we did 2 longer flights 8hours each last year but this is an extra 2 flights and I am abit worried.

Flight three sounds the worst one so save any new activities/good snacks for that one. Maybe try swapping around which parent has which DC to cart things a bit. What seat configuration do you have?

I'd start telling them plan now so they know what to expect.
Flight one is for films/games etc.
Flight two and three are for sleeping only (pushing your luck with 3, but might as well try) and flight 4 is same as 1.
Nothing out except bedtime story for flight 2. Keep seat back screens off.
Brush teeth etc during the wait for flight 2 to make it more bedtime like.
Three year old obviously more tricky than 5 year old!

Impossible to say without knowing the layover times

Assuming the first flight is just to make a connection at Heathrow? That’s chaotic at best so you’ll hopefully have a good couple of hours there.
