Hi how long did yours take to come though on standard option? Thanks

Following, I sent ours off Friday, arrived and received Monday and no update since. Anxiously checking every few hours as I'd like to go away at Easter (I forgot about the 3 month rule!).
Posts on Reddit showing normal renewals coming back in a week, so I had high hopes...

MissAmbrosia · 27/03/2025 10:42

My dd's renewal came through in about 6 days - i was totally shocked as we are abroad.

Poshfairy · 27/03/2025 16:31

I applied last month, it took nearly 3 weeks for a renewal. That was quick as last time before it took 4 months.

RagzRebooted · 27/03/2025 17:13

Got an email at 11am asking for DD15's to be countersigned, which is now done and they've approved and said it will be printed, so I expect we will get it early next week. Old one arrived with them this Monday, so pretty good.
DS18's was approved today, no issues.
DS17's apparently needs another photo as his had a shadow (even though when I submitted it said high quality) and then I don't know if he will also need a signature.

So, pretty fast! I suppose I can brave booking the holiday now.

I have just had my renewal back and it took a week. We have just sent off for my son's with the expectation it will be a week too. (We couldn't do it together as we had issues taking a photo).

StripyPanda · 27/03/2025 18:00

my daughter has got a new one from scratch for my grandson, my husband and I have just renewed ours (separately - within a month of each other) and all took less than a week to arrive back to us… excellent service

Spareincoming · 27/03/2025 18:03

Sent the application and old passport on the 18th, counter signatory did the online stuff on the same day, new one with us yesterday.
I’m impressed.

Mum2girl · 27/03/2025 18:11

Same for us

maw1681 · 27/03/2025 19:51

Very quick, 8 days I think

RagzRebooted · 29/03/2025 11:37

All 3 (one child renewal and two child to adult renewals) new passports arrived today. Our old ones reached the passport office on Monday (5 days ago) and one required a countersignature and another needed a new photo, so slowed it down a bit.
Very impressive service.

nachoaverageusername · 29/03/2025 12:55

Less than a week last month, very impressed. In fact I think it was 5 days from them receiving it, I had the new one back.

Am805463 · 29/03/2025 12:59

My sons was 8 days last month.

Baninarama · 29/03/2025 17:50

I renewed one of ours in February. I sent everything on a Thursday and the new passport arrived through the door on the Monday - I was shocked!

Moveoverdarlin · 29/03/2025 17:51

Recently done my daughter’s. Really quick. About 10 days. But that was probably February.
