Help for single mum on uk holiday

A friend in her mid 40s has mobility issues and has a carer for part of the week. She is a single mum with a 9 year old. She love to take her daughter on holiday in the summer , somewhere coastal perhaps, as they havent been away for 6 years but she needs someone to accompany them who can drive and help them. Her agency says it would cost her £500 a day and she is on benefits so this is out of the question. Any grants she could get would be £300- 500 at most. She hasn't any friends who could go with her and no family. Has anyone any suggestions as to what she could do? Or where she could advertise to pay for someone to accompany her?

The family Holiday charity might be able to help with the initial cost of the holiday How to access a holiday | Family Holiday Charity. This carer service provide holiday carers but I'm not sure of the cost. Carer Supported Holidays | Holiday Care | Helping Hands Home Care. Depending on her level of need, could she contact a college for health and social care students and offer it as a paid job?

Contacting a college might be an option. She'd need soneone who could drive but there might be someone. Thanks.

Is the child a young carer?

No they aren't a carer and have SEN so need quite a lot of support themselves.
