DH and I will be going away in October and plan a 5 day trip to see Pompeii and Herculaneum. He wants to stay around Sorrento.
We plan to hire a car and also explore the coast a bit.
Can anyone recommend a nice hotel, just B&B? We don't need a pool but some grounds to sit with a book and a drink would be good.
I like character in a hotel so ideally not a chain where all hotels just look the same but I definitely also want comfort.
Budget - no idea really as I have no idea about the price level in the area, I would like to keep the hotel not more than £1000 -£1500 in total though for 5 nights.
