Family of four: kids ages 2 and 4.

We booked flights in and out of Milan for first week of June for a week.

Would love recommendations of kid-friendly accommodation or activities.

Thank you in advance Smile

If you want to self cater, then Residence Filanda would be my recommendation. If you'd rather all inclusive, then Sisan Family Resort.

What sort of budget do you have? Do you plan to hire a car? One of the Lakes would be my plan - Garda is generally more set up for families I think. Though we have stayed on Lake Maggiore at Hotel La Palma and Lake Como at Hotel Villa Marie and found plenty to do. Both have pools. There are some great campsites at Peschiera del Garda which are reachable by train. Desenzano is also on train route.

If you’re interested in a eurocamp style holiday, then I would recommend Weekend Glamping Village in lake Garda. Really lovely site, we stayed in a lodge tent with a gorgeous view over the lake. But there were lots of other types of accommodation. Good location and excellent facilities. We flew in and out of Milan and hired a car.

An agriturismo might be a good option. It's a type of farm stay with accommodation, restaurant, animals, pool etc. Great for kids and some will let them help out with the animals or try a family cooking class.
