hihi just wondering if anyone's stayed in a haven bronze caravan ? (we're going to hafan in june w my lo who will be 13 months)

my daughter is almost crawling and walking n i'm stressing about the sleeping situation:/

is there any way i can fit a travel cot in the master bedroom ? i've been looking into buying a slim cot but i'm unsure if it'll be a waste of money. i can't find any dimensions for the rooms and i don't want to put her in the living room as she doesn't really like being left alone.

also if you'd like to share any experiences of hafan please do !! the last time i went i was a kid myself so i don't remember anything😭😭

thank you !! :)

Don't know about your holiday but just wanted to say that Joie Kubbie is the narrowest travel cot.

Bronze caravan is lovely. There will be sufficient room at the end of the bed for a travel cot. No problem.

yes have stayed in one you get what you pay for basically but they are ok for the money

You should be able to fold one of the beds in the other room and slide it under the other one, that way a travel cot fits in the room and the single bed for you. That's what we always did. There was one time we had to take the bed out as it didn't fold, but we managed it.

There should just about be room in the big room but it’ll be tight. We stayed in one when dd2 was 15 months but I also had my 4.5 year old (who would alert us to any of DD2s shenanigans) and so dd2 just slept in a single bed and shared a room with her sister, so never tried to fit a travel cot in.

I'm going to disagree with pps because I think there's no way a travel cot will fit at the end of the bed in the double bedroom, or even if it did it would be a super tight fit and you wouldn't be able to get out of the door.

A bronze caravan should have a pull down bed in the living room if you book a 3 bedroom sleeps 6-8 one, then you could have the travel cot with you in there.

If you only need 1 room go for the smallest berth. All caravans are the same footprint so fewer rooms mean bigger rooms.

My parents stayed in a 2 bedroom on a different site but their room was the entire width of the caravan. In comparison, our 3 bedrooms were snug!!

Alternatively, the walls are paper thin so putting the travel cot in another room is like having them in the room with you anyway.

Just coming on to add that Hafan is great. We go most years, as its not far for us. The caravans are lovely, we've never had a bad one either.

Hello!

We have just come back from 3 nights in a bronze Haven caravan on a different site.
My LO is 4 months old.
The cot they gave us didn’t have a mattress with it (It didn’t occur to me it wouldn’t, seems obvious now! It does say on the app about this, I must’ve missed it) but it wouldn’t have fit in the bedroom. LO slept in the pram carry cot but this wouldn’t fit in the bedroom either (even at the end of the bed!)
We were in a 3 bed caravan and in the end decided to use the sofa bed in the living room so LO could be next to us.
The sofa bed had the thinnest mattress I’ve ever seen so we took the mattress off the double bed and put it on top, which worked well.
In the caravan we had the travel cot wouldn’t have fitted anywhere except the living room (I think this would be the case even for a thin one!

If I was you I would contact the Haven park you are going to directly and ask if there are any caravans that will fit a cot in the bedroom?
