Skiing in New Zealand?

Has anybody skied in New Zealand before? Is it worth the trip? All advice welcome :)

Yes, although about 15 years ago and before having DCs. Stayed in Queenstown (which is epic) and skied The Remarkables. Assuming you’re in the UK I wouldn’t go all that way just to ski but as part of a wider trip to NZ (which is probably the most beautiful & awe inspiring place I’ve ever been) it’s lovely.

I’d go if I was in NZ, but not travel there to go skiing. I know of a NZ family with a seriously good teenage snowboarder. They spend much of the year at European ski resorts!
