Looking to go in August, family of 4. Kids will be 2 and 4.

We will be hoping not to schlep everything over with us like travel cot highchair etc and hoping it will be there to borrow?!

Italy is very family friendly. Most B&Bs will have cots / set ups for you to use. You just have to prearrange

www.delphina.it - nice family friendly resorts in Sardinia. We had a lovely week when dd was little at the Residence Oliveto in Ceriale on the italian riviera - flew to Nice then got the train. Huge pool, mini kids club, sandy beach 5 mins, lots of places to eat or get a takeaway pizza.

We did camping Bella Italia in a Eurocamp van when DCs were little and it was fab. It's a great site on the lake, short walk or mini train into the nearest town from where you can get boats to other locations around Lake Garda

Sounds just the sort of thing I'm after, thank you!
