Interconnecting rooms beach hotel

Please can anyone recommend a hotel right on a sandy beach with interconnecting rooms. It would be our first hotel holiday with our young children.Not in Cyprus or Turkey. Thank you!

Look at some Barcelo chain hotels in Spain. Think Barcelo Menorca has family rooms ( two adjoining bedrooms)
