Hi folks.
I want to take my daughter away for s week mid June, from the 8thowards.

I've only ever been on2 package holidays so a novice at this.
We're thinking lanzarote, morroco or Tunisia- cheap and all jnclusive. We just want a week to chill, reading in the sun with some local places to walk to like a market/ bars /cafes. Not too bothered about alot to see/ excursions. We've both had health issues in the past year and honestly just want to relax.

I've started to look but feel lost in site's, travel agents and easyjet!

Is love holidays ok to go with? They are the cheapest but worried it's a foolish choice

Would you go any less than 4 star? Would that be ok in terms of rating.

Do you think those locations are OK? Any suggestions for good towns / areas?

Any advice is appreciated.

What is your budget and which airport will you be flying from?

DD and friends booked their post A level holiday through Love Holidays - no issues whatsoever.

As someone who has been to Tunisia on a cheap, last minute all inclusive before I would never go back, especially if you’re wanting to walk round markets. You (and especially your 18yo DD) would attract an awful lot of unwanted attention. Despite DH being with me we were constantly approached by random men asking to ‘buy’ me for the night, alongside a huge amount of catcalling. It was absolutely disgusting and unsafe for female travellers in my opinion.

Malaga and the surrounding area is typically a more budget friendly part of Spain and has all that you’d want.

Hi

I’ve been to Tunisia and we didn’t feel safe going out with female friends to markets and cafe’s - so if you want to leave the resort I’d recommend Europe over North Africa. We loved the holiday however as you get a lot for your money and we just wanted a fly and flop after exams - so it was perfect for us at the time.

Canary & Balearic islands are always lovely, don’t rule out southern Spain either - lots of good deals and as long as you stay out of the traditional “brits abroad” locations you will have a wonderful holiday.

Can Pastilla is Mallorca is lovely. The resort has lots of shops and restaurants and is right on the beach. Really nr the airport and a short drive into Palma which is a fab city to look around.

Have been to Lanzerote a couple of times and wouldn't rush back, but appreciate some love it.

I would generally always go 4 star or above unless the reviews for a lower rated place were consistently good- the rating isn't necessarily directly linked to cleanliness etc.

I have used Love Holidays/ On the beach in the past but much prefer booking everything separately. Booking.com for hotels especially. I only ever book ones that you pay when you arrive. Transfers can be easily sorted too.

Having read the thread the other day about worst holidays, I'm not sure a cheap all inclusive in Tunisia or Morocco is a good idea !
