Hi all

We're looking at our first holiday in years when DS 16 finishes his GCSEs and need ideas.

Flight can't be long, 3.5 hours max from Manc
Nice weather obvs!
All inclusive
Not rammed in school holidays if poss, don't mind busy but not chaos
Things to do in the area for us all - theme parks, zoos etc

Budget I guess we're looking at £1300 pp???

Any ideas gratefully received!

Side note - me and DP arguing already about taking DS13 out of school towards the end of term. I don't want to, so anywhere I can show him reviews online showing its not too bad in school hols would be a bonus!

Thank you 🙏

Was looking at Salou, as it sounds like it's busy there all the time anyway and a good place for teens, but does it get too busy in school hols?

No experience of all inclusive (I camped!) but Morrocco?

We’re a family of 7 with kids aged 17, 15, 15, 13 and 13. We’ve not gone all inclusive as our kids get bored at the same place and like to be entertained! We tend to stay at Eurocamps but recommend Lake Garda which has both theme parks and a water park. We had two days in Verona at the start and two days in Venice at the end. I’m sure there are hotels there which are all inclusive.

If you are looking at Salou we stayed in Cambrils which is about 20 minutes away. Really lovely, more Spanish families there, nice beach. Portaventura is 15 minutes away by car.

Tenerife or one of the other Canary Islands?

Cruise !

Cruise avoid P&O(Grubby) MSC (Packed) and Cunard (Snobby)
Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Celebrity cater very well for these age groups

This place in Portugal has always shown up when I’ve been looking for holidays-scores really well on TripAdvisor. Very reasonably priced. There are water parks and various things not too far away.
