Post GCSE results break

[Aginplease]

I'm after a 4 night short break for myself and daughter for the end of August after her GCSE results.
I was close to booking Malaga, but dates for the start of college just don't allow and the days we can go are very expensive.
I'm not necessarily bothered about where I go, but somewhere that is warm and we can relax.
I was originally thinking a city, but I'm worried about getting our own transfers to a city, just an anxiety thing!
Thinking maybe Alcudia as it has a mix of beach, old town and new town. If we have early flights on the way out and then late flights coming home to maximise time.

Barcelona?

Salou in Spain, if you can get cheap flights to Reus. It's such a short transfer and it's got a nice mix of things to do.

@PotteringAlonggotkickedoutandhadtoreregister I have got Barcelona shortlisted but put off slightly by alot of hotel reviews mentioning pickpockets of tourists.
