New York + where - May half term

i had grand plans to do New York + the Hamptons for May half term but it seems like the Hamptons are not especially warm then and there won’t be enough to entertain three children. Any suggestions for destinations - happy to fly. The idea is 3 nights in New York and then 4/5 nights somewhere hot. Thank you!

Philly will be warm by then but not baking. You could do long beach island which is on the jersey shore. That will be warm then too. You don’t want to be there in August as it’s grossly hot and sticky.

Bermuda? Makes a much shorter flight home after. And it’s not in the Caribbean like some folk think!
Should be mid 20s at that time of year. Nice island, things to do but also good for relaxation. Not the cheapest though.
Or fly to the Caribbean, Bahamas Atlantis perhaps, depending on your kids ages, can be a lot of fun. Jamaica also good for kids.
