Hello!
We have booked flights to Vancouver for 9 nights this year.
I have drafted the following itinerary but hoping people could suggest adjustments/recommendations! We like to be outdoors, walking and sightseeing. Would love to include paddleboarding, kayaking and most importantly - bear watching.

Vancouver x 2 nights
Tofino x 1 night
Telegraph Cove x 2 nights
Victoria x 1 nights
Whistler 2 x nights
Vancouver 1 x night

Hi, we did Vancouver area a couple of years ago(2 adults 2 teens). We did 4 nights in Vancouver (hired bikes and went around Stanley Park), a day wondering around the city and then drove and walked the Grouse Grind. It was the perfect amount of time for us. We then did 4 night in Whistler - the highlight for us was driving and walking up to the Joffre Lakes (you need to book a pass - free) - they were amazing and we saw bears on the drive there. There are also bears in and around Whistler - saw lots of poo!) You can SUP on eth lakes in Whistler. We also did the 2 peak gondola which although pricey for 4 of us was worth it. On the drive up to Whistler there are a couple of small lakes and waterfalls that you can stop at. The view from the top of Stawamus Chief was wonderful. We then caught the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo and drove to Victoria. We were here for 5 nights which was too long and we should have explored the Island further but just wanted to chill by then. We did Whale watching from here. There were no beaches we wanted to spend the day at at any of these locations (we are spoilt by the beaches / lakes we have at home though)

I loved Vancouver but have relatives there so that probably helped. Victoria Park is fab.

It's a very long drive to Tofino and it's also an absolutely amazing place - I'd definitely stay there longer (visit the Cathedral of Trees on the way) - I'd say 3 nights minimum. You can kayak, whale watch, bear watch in Tofino depending on time of year.

I'd skip Whistler - it's very plastic. There's a lot of expensive shops. Some nice hiking.
