Campsites near Nice

We have booked flights to Nice for the May half term and are looking for a nice campsite to stay at. We are fairly active and love the beach and cycling. Our kids are 7 and 5. Could anyone give me recommendations for the nicest campsites within an hour of Nice? We are willing to pay a bit more for clean and quiet accommodation.

Domaine de La Bergerie is superb and one of the best we've ever been to.

Are you hiring a car or using public transport?

Thanks for the tip so far! We could hire a car if a campsite is out of the way.

@Forgottenmyphone Domaine de la Bergerie looks superb! Are most activities charged extra? Do you remember which are free and which extra?

Trampolines, fitness room, table tennis and tennis courts were definitely free. We paid extra for mini golf, horse riding and paintball. Can't remember about the bike hire, sorry.

@Forgottenmyphone thank you so much. We’ve gone ahead and booked. Nice to have it to look forward to this cold January day!
