Refunds on flight tickets help, please!

A friend and I planned to travel to the US later this year, but a change in her circumstances means that she is no longer able to go.

She booked the flights with BA, and I'd still like to go. I understand that it is refundable, but I'd still like to go. Would she be able to cancel only her portion and transfer my ticket to me. It has my passport details. Or will I have to rebook for myself?

It depends on the terms and conditions, it's best she speaks to the retailer if she is the lead name

If the flights are booked directly with BA, then each one should be able to be treated separately. She doesn't need to transfer it to you, it will already be in your name if it was booked for you in the first place.
